THE SEARCH FUND MODEL

Search fund is an investment vehicle in which the entrepreneur raises capital from investors to finance the search for a company to acquire and manage. The search process involves identifying acquisition opportunities, analyzing target companies, conducting due diligence, and negotiating purchase terms. Once a company is acquired, the search fund manager assumes a leadership role in the acquired company and works alongside investors to increase its value over time, while preserving the principles and legacies of the acquired company.

"There is an opportunity for the potential selling entrepreneur, the possibility of obtaining financial liquidity, time to dedicate himself to other purposes, and the prospect of seeing his legacy and company perpetuated."(EXAME)

"The search is for companies that are well structured, with growth potential to capitalize on them."(FORBES)
